Responsibilities: My responsibilities include overall management and administration of the Environment, Health & Safety and Risk Management departments. In coordination with faculty, physicians, staff, and students, I work to ensure the health, safety, risk management, and environmental stewardship needs of our campus and medical center communities are consistently met. Major areas of responsibility within Environment, Health & Safety and Risk Management include: workers' compensation, general, auto, and professional liability, general safety, pest management, sanitation, industrial hygiene, emergency services, radiation safety, biosafety, select agent management, chemical safety, controlled substances management, fire and life safety, environmental affairs, and hazardous waste management.
